Described as a “Home with a Storied Past” in Charlottesville Home Magazine this house was originally a train depot in Midlothian and moved to Ivy sometime in the 1930’s. The renovation and addition of a Garage with Guest suite was designed by Ruth Ellen Outlaw, Outlaw Design. The main floor of the existing house was completely renovated with new Bathrooms and Kitchen. An oculus(defined as a circular opening in the center of a dome or in a wall) was added over a newly built round hallway to the Master bedroom and Bath suite
