This property in Northwest Albemarle County is located on a ridge opposite the Blue Ridge Mountains. Designed by Jim Grigg of Daggett and Grigg Architects, this house was completed while the owners were still living abroad in London. It’s comprised of 4 structures: main house, guest house, carport with utility closet, and a barn with workshop, garage, and 2nd floor storage. While totaling close to 3,000 square feet, the main house is made up of a master bedroom suite with 2 walk-in closets, spacious Living Room/Dining Room shared space, Kitchen, and Mudroom with Mechanical closet.

Both West and East walls of the Living/Dining Room have 3 large glass doors with transoms above, allowing views to the Blue Ridge and across a lowered pool area to the 2 bedroom Guest House. A wood burning masonry fireplace is at both ends.
