Our process begins with a meet and greet for the client, architect, and builder to get to know one another. This is our opportunity to inform clients about our process . We encourage clients to review our references, explore our website, and visit our existing job sites. Visiting a job site is one of the best ways for clients to see how a project is managed and what your project will look like during construction. The goal of our consultations and meetings is to build a relationship to determine if all members feel like a team that will work well together for the building project.
After our initial introductory meetings, we begin the Pre-Construction phase. At this point we work closely with the client and architect during the design phase to finalize design ideas and establish an accurate scope of work. Having a builder involved during design is the one of the most valuable assets to a client building a custom home. During this phase we develop a detailed proposal with a price that becomes part of the contract.
If the budget doesn’t align with the cost of construction we excel at identifying material substitutions and alternate methods of building to value engineer the scope of work to meet budget. We are capable of doing this from the time spent during the Pre-Construction phase getting to know our clients and their vision related to the project.
Contract for Construction
The Contract for Construction is presented with the Pre-Construction Proposal. At this time we provide a price with the detailed proposal and schedule of the project so our clients and the architects can easily follow along with the construction progress. Once the contract is signed we begin the fun part of construction.
During construction we maintain clear communication, holding meetings as necessary with homeowners and Architects. Together we will review progress and any questions that come up along the way. We always remain easily accessible for questions that come up between that time.
